It’s the season…. Empty rooms and blank walls are quickly becoming that “home away from home.”
You’re also probably busy and stressed. Trying to enjoy the last of your summer while also prepping your room to welcome a new group of smiles that will quickly become more like family than classmates.
I’m not teaching first grade this year. But, I will be teaching one day a week in third grade. I have a range of emotions! Excited to be in a new grade! Sad that for the first time in 18 years I’m not getting my classroom ready…. I can’t believe I’m actually saying that!!
The one thing I am…. is ecstatic to have the time to create more resources. So, as you are prepping your rooms I will be sending daily back to school freebies and ideas for those first few weeks of school!
