Classroom Setup & Decor Frenzy

Oh my word!!! Where has the summer gone?  I’m officially in FRENZY mode! Parent orientation is next week, and we start school in two weeks. SO… I went to my classroom for the first time on Friday. I hate to say it, but I am totally a procrastinator! However, I did get A LOT done and am feeling much better about being ready for the kiddos and parents on Friday.

So… Here are a few pictures of my classroom!  I’m excited to be starting the year with a rainforest theme! I also went a little crazy this summer creating classroom decor and organization packs.  Somehow I incorporated a little of EVERYTHING into my classroom this year!

**I moved my calendar area above our classroom bookshelves.  There wasn’t a bulletin board, so I just created my own on the wall.  I love the number sense posters!{I took those from my Ocean Bundle, but I am offering them for free with the chevron theme.} I’m also excited about my new job chart and birthday display {That is not yet finished… I still have to add student names!!}

*I love my cute new table numbers and vines hanging from the ceiling!

*This is going to be my guided reading area.  I have a long way to go!!

*This is a big picture of my classroom library! Ignore the tubs on the floor…I was trying to get ready for orientation!  I love the jungle hanging from the ceiling but am not excited about all of the work I still need to do to get the library organized!

*I’m loving the table headers!!

*And.. A big picture of the classroom!  It makes me realize how much work I still need to do!  Especially with all that junk on the white bookshelves!

If you would like to check out any of the decor packs that I used in my room you can take a look at them here:
